La Habra has been my home for more than 25 years, where my husband and I proudly raised our two children, both graduates of the La Habra City School District.
I recently retired after 35 years of public service, including 25 years with the California Department of Social Services, where I served in leadership roles dedicated to protecting the health, safety, and well-being of children. Throughout my career, I worked with families, educators, and community partners to ensure children had safe, supportive environments where they could learn and thrive.
As your School Board Trustee, I will focus on three priorities.
First, getting back to the basics by ensuring every student receives a strong foundation in reading, writing, mathematics, and science.
Second, protecting parental rights and expanding school choice, because parents, not the government, should have the primary responsibility for raising their children, and families deserve a meaningful voice in their children's education.
Third, promoting transparency and accountability by making responsible, fiscally sound decisions and ensuring the community has confidence in its School Board.
Together, we can build schools that put students first, empower parents, support our teachers, and prepare every child for lifelong success.
Guided by Faith. Dedicated to Families. Committed to Students.
